Asher’s Chocolates has a strong commitment to our community and donates generously to many local and national organizations. We have a special place in our hearts for children, and sponsor events throughout the year that are free to the public, including children’s plays in the spring and a Fall Fest every September.

Environmentally Friendly

Chocolate isn’t the only thing that makes us smile. In March 2011, Asher’s Chocolates became landfill-free. All waste generated in our Souderton facility is either reused, recycled, or processed as renewable energy at the Covanta Plymouth Renewable Energy plant.

Covanta Plymouth is an Energy-from-Waste facility where combustion of trash and other waste creates electricity through a steam turbine. This single plant in Conshohocken, Pennsylvania, generates enough renewable energy to power over 30,000 homes per day. That means conserving natural resources, which means more time and energy for eating chocolate!
